Anyone got digital keys working in the UK? [MY25 Ioniq 5]

For various job related reasons we have to return our old '22 Ioniq 5 Ultimate + Tech and have just picked up a new MY25 N-Line S. Both the manual and the Hyundai website talk about the digital key, but I can't see it in the UI or the (Android) bluelink app.

I'm assuming it's not actually available in the UK (despite the website listing the UK as supported countries for the various smartphone wallets), but thought I'd check here to see if anyone else had managed to get it working.

Have you tried Google? It took me 10 seconds to find the answer to your question:

To activate a Hyundai Digital Key for an Ioniq, you can follow these steps:

Ensure you have your physical keys and your mobile device in the car

Turn on the vehicle and put the gear in "P"

Open the Hyundai Bluelink app

Click Add in the pop-up window for Digital Key Registration

The activation process will be sent to your wallet app

In the vehicle's infotainment system, select Setup > Vehicle > Digital Key > Smartphone Key

Place your smartphone face-up on the wireless charging pad

Once the save process is complete, a message will appear on the instrument

Sorry, I obviously wasn't clear enough in my post. I have found the instructions, what I wanted to know is whether anyone had actually been able to get them to work in the UK!

None of the ways the instructions suggest seem to work in my ioniq 5 - in particular, there is no "Digital Key" option under "setup -> Vehicle". Anyone in the UK have any better luck than me?

I don't think the digital key works in the UK/Europe. That was the result of my search, when I got my Ioniq6. The digital key option is available in North America.

I have gen2 Kona Ultimate with digital key supplied

Personally, I have given up trying to get it to work

I asked my dealer , their response…” if you get it to work, let us know how to do it”…!!!
That was 6 months ago
Car has it’s 1st birthday service in a fortnight…I will enquire again and report back

That's a bit worrying, I'm about to order a new Kona and find the digital key on my wife's BMW is quite handy. The Hyundai compatibility list definitely includes UK for Apple, Google Pixel and Samsung though the country list is shorter for Samsung.

Here are a couple of pics from the N-Line S Ioniq 5 (with the old one in the background - waiting to go back to Leaseplan!).

FWIW - the new MY 25 Ioniq 5 does have the ccNC infotainment and (allegedly) full OTA updates.

I'll try and get some interior ones at some point (but we've managed to already get the included free of charge Hyundai N-Line mats dirty).
